igniteXML 2008-04-15 Software igniteXML is an XML schema development tool that provides the unique ability to create schema from reusable Core-Components, bring governance to the development process, and understand the impacts of changes at the time of change. Reference models like the National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) and Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) Data Reference Model (DRM) can be imported and reusable Core-Components (the common vocabulary that make up schema - name, address, activity, etc.) are extracted and organized. Consistent sub-schemas can then be built using these pre-approved and pre-validated building blocks.
